Conpulsion Episode 1 – World Building

I could tell everyone that I’ve been to Conpulsion. Again. But it’d be annoying because I keep going on about it. But that’s because it’s a great convention!

Anyway, while over there, I recorded some audio of the seminars – some of the seminars, that is – and I thought someone might be interested in them.

So here is the first of them and I’ll be releasing the rest as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, hope you enjoy this seminar about World Building with Ian Lowson, Phil Harris and Kevin Beimers!

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 89–La Puerta de Ishtar, how much is too much detail and Gygax Magazine

The joy of being able to speak more than language (two in my case) is that you can read books in all those languages, which is what I’ve done this time.

I realise that the attractive might be less for you if you can’t speak Spanish, but I have recently been very gladly surprised by La Puerta de Ishtar, as you might know if you’ve read my review here. Taking advantage that Jenn and Vickey were going to be around for a chat, I thought I’d talk with them about it.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 90–Lakeside Games with Len Pimentel

Role Playing Games publishers come and go all the time. To the point that it is very difficult to keep up with the influx of new titles and the companies behind them.

This means that grabbing my attention is certainly not easy, but when you grab my attention… well, you’ve got it!

That is what Len Pimentel did before he created his company Lakeside Games with the idea of bringing new ideas and new games into the RPG scene.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 86 – International Tabletop Day with Boyan Radakovich

Another episode of the podcast in our new format of just one topic or segment per episode to make them a bit shorter.

Having said that, this episode is nearly 50 minutes, but I assure you is well worth it!

International Tabletop Day is the latest initiative from the Geek and Sundry team, who are hell bent on making sure as many people as possible are aware and, hopefully, join the board and role playing game fan-base.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 79–Dark Harvest: The Legacy of Frankenstein

At last, after too long of waiting, and not without some host coordination issues, we are back to bring you more RPG goodness and more interviews. Huzzah!

In this episode Dale and I talk about the recently reprint of the AD&D games by Wizards of the Coast. Together with the release of old modules and material in PDF through DriveThruRPG.com, there are also a small number of physical books you can get your hands on if you so wish. But is there a point to that, or are you better off buying the books in the second hand market?

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast – Episode 70 with Daniel Solis

Episode 70 has arrived, slowly but surely, just like Christmas approaches. And since that means you’ll want to give your loved ones as much as you can. Obviously your not-so-loved ones won’t get a thing. Mine don’t. So to make your life a lot easier, Jenn, Vickey and myself have put together a list of games we think you should get. Or that someone should get for you.
