The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Boardgame Edition Episode 51–Morels with Brent Povis

As well as a game geek, I am a bit of a foodie. In fact I know more about food than I know about games, maybe because I eat and cook more often than I play games. When I heard about Morels, I was immediately intrigued. Agreed that it doesn’t take much to intrigue me, but you’ll agree that a game about foraging mushrooms in the forest is a very intriguing concept.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 48–Boardgame Edition with Sirlin Games

Welcome to the new episode of the boardgame edition of the G*M*S Magazine Podcast.

In this episode we have an interview with David Sirlin, from Sirlin Games fame; creators of Yomi, Puzzle Strike and Flash Duel. Arguably the best fighting games out there, though you’ll have to play them to find out if they’re as good as I think they are (and I think they’re very good!).

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 46 Part 2–Colonial Gothic with Graeme Davis

Graeme talks, in depth, about his passion for Colonial Gothic and the reasons that brought him into it. His cooperation with Richard Iorio has been pivotal in developing a setting and world that is seriously stunning. If you’re looking for a historical based alternative to Call of Cthulhu, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

G*M*S Magazine Podcast RPG Edition Episode 45–What have games done for you with Scott F. Gray

In this episode, Jenn, Vickey, Dale and myself discuss what have games done for us and our lives, and also what do we think games can contribute to someone’s life. A very meaty subject that made the podcast be a bit longer than we would like, but hopefully you’ll find it insightful.

It was also my pleasure to have Scott F. Gray back in the show. As always, it was a pleasure talking to him, and it was indeed a pleasure to read his book, We Can Be Heroes. We talk about the book and its contents at length, though there are no spoilers, so don’t you worry.
