One of the gems from Spiel 2013 I was very much looking forward to was this game. Being a fan of Ludonaute and having seen Yggdrasil and Shitenno, Phantom was very, very appealing.
Phantom is very unique in that it combines a book and a card game in one box. The game is a card game for two players in which an ancient battle between two spirits is enacted as members of a family move into a haunted colonial home and are chased by the two spirits fighting for the control of the property.
From the outside the book/game looks really nice. Small and portable with lovely cover and back artwork, but is what’s inside worth having?Let’s take a look!
