The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 107–Incredibrawl Kickstarter project

There are quite a few fighting games out there and I think it’s fair to say that few come close to Yomi and BattleCon. And yet that doesn’t deter some people from trying to bring out more experiences that will match, and hopefully surpass the mighty duo.

This is what V3G is trying to do with Incredibrawl and for that they’ve gone to Kickstarter to entice and attract the much needed players and funds that a game needs to hit the tables.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 102–I Am Zombie with Mark Rein-Hagen

It is no secret that I like zombies. If they were real, I’d pet them. However, even I must admit that in the last few years they’ve been done to death and even the latest TV series based on successful comic books use them as a means to study human relationships and introspection, not as a credible enemy unless they’re for opportunistic plot advancement.

Conpulsion Episode 3–Italic Pig with Kevin Beimers

Third in the series of episodes from Conpulsion.

This time I bring you, with out most pleasure, an interview with Kevin Beimers, the mind behind Italic Pig. I could tell you what that is, but Kevin explains much better than I could during the interview.

Not an interview about RPGs or Board Games, but about videogames for the mobile platform, but I think you’ll find it interesting. Or I hope you will!

And with good reason. They’re bloody brilliant!

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 90–Lakeside Games with Len Pimentel

Role Playing Games publishers come and go all the time. To the point that it is very difficult to keep up with the influx of new titles and the companies behind them.

This means that grabbing my attention is certainly not easy, but when you grab my attention… well, you’ve got it!

That is what Len Pimentel did before he created his company Lakeside Games with the idea of bringing new ideas and new games into the RPG scene.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 87–Zombie House Blitz

Plenty of people think that zombies are done to death, and considering that zombies are walking dead, it kind of fits nicely.

What I think people mean though, is that too many games with a zombie theme have been published to date. I guess that means that for someone to want to come out with yet another Kickstarter project for a game wit a zombie theme is, to say the least, brave.

The G*M*S Magazine Podcast Episode 84–Story War with Brad O’Farrell

Some like Kickstarter, some don’t, but the fact is that it is successful and Story War has done extremely well out of it.

In Story War, the players take on the role or warriors who have to fight in fantastic locations using even more fantastic weapons and items. Every round one of the player will act as the judge and will decide who’s used his/her character to the most effect to tell the story of how said character crushes enemies and conquests lands.
