It is fair to say that Tolkien gave us one of the best loved and most inspiring fantasy worlds ever. Known pretty much all over the world and with millions of devoted followers, it is not surprising that it has reached pretty much any medium from the original books to cinema and, of course, tabletop games.
Ever since I read the first one, I have been a massive fan of IDW’s series of D&D based comic books. As you can imagine, when this one came out, I was almost with the finger on the mouse to get it right away. It wasn’t what I was expecting, though!

This an interview that took place at the UK Games Expo this past May with the two main organisers who, I bet you anything, are just as amazed at how this expo has taken off in such short time.

No. Really. It is.
As you may know, I am a sucker for good artwork and strange games. This game sounded a bit of both.
The artwork in the cover was more than enough to awaken the Final Fantasy fan in me and the fact that it is based on a videogame that’s popular in the Far East was the icing on the cake.
