Recently, at the UK Games Expo I came across this game from Asmodee and Matagot. I knew nothing about it, but it has cats and it’s Matagot, so I had to have it because they produce truly gorgeous games.
So I have delved into the box and its contents and found out what’s inside and if it is any good.

Sunrise City is another game from the guys at Clever Mojo Games. After the overwhelming success of Alien Frontier in Kickstarter and beyond, they decided to try a repeat. They repeated. Once more, with more success. A lot more success.
It’s been a terrific year and I am only so happy to still be around and feel as enthusiastic about the podcast, the website and the gaming world as I did a year ago.
Of course, when one has the opportunity to cyber-mingle with amazing people like Colby Dauch, the creator of Summoner Wars, my hobby becomes a privilege.

Clever Mojo game pretty much started the boardgame craze in Kickstarter by successfully funding the rather excellent Alien Frontiers. It didn’t take them long to decide they would do the same with their following project, Sunrise City and they were right.
