Gary Games releases Ascension Expansion

San Diego, Ca. – Gary Games, a top industry gaming company whose staff has over 30 years combined industry experience working with top brands, presents the first expansion edition for the highly-successful deck-building game, Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer scheduled for an international release June 29, 2011.

After selling more than 15,000 copies of the fast-paced board game since August 2010, Gary Games introduces Ascension: Return of the Fallen, offering fans 65 brand-new cards and the option to combine with Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer for an expanded game, with up to six players.

“Weʼre really proud of Ascension: Return of the Fallen,” said Gary Games CEO, Justin Gary. “We listened to our fans – and were able to take Ascension to a whole new level, incorporating aspects that will change the game with a single flip of a card.”

The first Ascension expansion will follow the launch of Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer to the digital world as an app on the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch in June 2011. Return of the Fallen will be available as an in-app purchase later this year.

How it Works

Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer revolves around a Centre Deck containing Heroes, Constructs and Monsters. Players take turns recruiting Heroes or Constructs for their decks or defeating Monsters to earn honour and ultimate victory.

Ascension: Return of the Fallen will be first available at the Origins Game Fair for $29.99 starting June 24, 2011 and available through Ascensiongame.com.
