And episode 5 is here!
In this episode from Chicago we have two interviews with as many game designers, Eric Etkin from TactDecks and Eloy Lasanta from Third Eye Games.
Eric Etkin is the inventor, developer and producer of the rather excellent TactDeck, a game that combines excellently card game with wargame mechanics in a quick but deep game.
Eric talks to us about his approach to design, how this game started and came to be, and also about his views on current game scene and the future of TactDecks.
Eloy Lasanta is the talented write behind Third Eye Games, company that has brought you Role Playing Games such as Wu-Xing, Apocalipse Prevention and, very soon, Part-time Gods.
Eloy takes us through his gaming past, present and future… far into the future, with an exclusive announcement on his next project for 2013… Yep, that far ahead!
We talk about Wu-Xing and Apocalypse Prevention Inc, and how Eloy came up with the ideas and development for both settings and the mechanics. A really interesting story there!
This is also your chance to learn more about Part-time Gods and get involved in the production stages of the game by pledging to the Kickstarter project. You can visit that project by clicking here and the podcast will give you all the information you need about this game.
I truly believe it sounds fantastic.
