Announcing the G*M*S Magazine Network

G*M*S Magazine started in June 2010 in an effort to bring news and reviews about the gaming world and products. It quickly became apparent to Paco Garcia Jaen, founder and – so far – creative editor for the website, that one man alone can’t write enough to keep the world interested, so he started to look for reviewers who’d either contribute, or allow him to publish their works.

Strange Aeons

Every once in a while, a moment of clarity will occur in your life where you have to kind of sit back and re-evaluate just what the hell it is that you think you’re doing. For some people, it’s sitting in a bar, completely tossed and chain-smoking Marlboros, realizing they should quit the lifestyle before they become a sucked-up Iggy Pop look-alike. For others it’s sitting, glazed, on the couch in a dope-fuelled stupor, perhaps concluding that you’ve been watching a TV that’s not even on, and that you should put down the bong for a minute. Life tends to kick us in the bollocks from time to time with little gems of wisdom, and about a year ago or so, I got mine.

Unboxing ‘The Message: Emissary Crisis’

As you may know, I am a sucker for good artwork and strange games. This game sounded a bit of both.

The artwork in the cover was more than enough to awaken the Final Fantasy fan in me and the fact that it is based on a videogame that’s popular in the Far East was the icing on the cake.

Thanks to Swan Panasia for providing with a review copy of this game.
