Galaxy’s Edge review

After playing the amazingly fun “Conquest of the Fallen Lands”, I started looking into the publisher, Assa Games, to see what they’re all about. It turns out that it is essentially a two-man show, and they had produced a second game after Fallen Lands.

Conquest Of The Fallen Lands

This game is a tile-based romp where the players are heroic types who need to rid the countryside of all the nasties that tend to overrun said countrysides. You do this by retaking territories, which are comprised solely of the tiles themselves, and to retake a territory, you simply need to have enough soldiers to take that territory.

Kobolds of the Fallen Halls Review

This offering in the Tribes line from Raging Swan Press creates its own dramatic tension from the beginning – an underground complex that is home to TWO separate bands of kobolds. Of course they are going to bicker, even if it wasn’t for the two dragons egging them on!

Heroes of the Fallen Lands

D&D Essentials are a new product line designed for new players. It boils down some classes to a single new build (sometimes two) with the express interest of making the game easier for new players to get involved in 4th edition and to create a new baseline for players to build from. The Essentials line comes in three parts: the part for everyone, the part for Players and the part for the GM. The part for everyone includes the new Red Box, the Rules Compendium and the official dice set. The Players books are Heroes of the Fallen Lands and Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdom.
