Immersion in Games

Games, for the most part, have a theme. Many games are designed entirely around involving players in their theme. RPGs form the lion’s share of these, and the remainder form a category that is commonly referred to as Ameritrash (this isn’t a derogatory term in most circles, despite the sound of it).

The Edge Of Night review

The Edge of Night is an adventure for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd edition. Written by veteran of Warhammer universe Graeme Davis, it did promise from the very beginning to be an interesting product. Coming from Fantasy Flight Games, it did also promise to be of very high quality production.

Urban Arcana

I played a lot of Shadowrun in my teens, and most of our games were set in a futuristic Seattle, so I’m no stranger to urban role-playing games. I’ve never played in an urban setting in a fantasy game, though, and that’s an itch I’d like to scratch one day, perhaps by visiting one of the following fine destinations:

Deathwatch review

DEATHWATCH is the newest Warhammer 40K Roleplaying game from Fantasy Flight Games, taking players into a whole new realm in the ‘Grim Darkness of the 41st Millenium’. Following on from their succesful DARK HERESY and ROGUE TRADER titles, DEATHWATCH now gives players the chance to play the super-soldiers of the Imperium: the Space Marines.
