Conception 2011
Conception takes place in Christchurch, close to Bournemouth at the Hobourne Naish Park in Dorset, where for 5 days, all sorts of characters take over the premises and fill up the tables with more games you know exist.
In the beginning, there was Dominion. And it was good. Very good. So good, in fact, that plenty of others were inspired to explore this “deck-building” genre that had been created. Thunderstone may have been the most prominent response to Dominion’s popularity before this year, but Origins and GenCon showed that there’s plenty more on the way. Precis Intermedia’s latest critters set in the ENnie Award-nominated Disposable Heroes(R) line of paper miniatures is now available… Critters 3: Familiars adds 30 common animals that are perfect as wizards’ familiars or mundane use. Available as either a Statix or Customizable Download.
Heroes of Graxia contains dozens of unique cards, as well as miniatures, in a non-CCG deck-building game. Obtain for your deck the best Weapons, armour, Spells, Armies, Henchmen, and Mercenary cards. Conquer enemies by playing these cards on the game table in a sequence of turns with other players.
