I wasn’t too sure as to what to expect from this game when I received it. I haven’t really played that many racing games, but this one, when it was offered caught my eye. Being re-launched for its 21st anniversary, the box is heavy and the game sounds fun, but do the contents justify the price?

Find out in this video!

This is what the publishers have to say:

The videogames were excellent (well, maybe not Dragon Age 2) and the RPG did them justice with an elegant and easy to master system and great cinematic mechanics. However, is the quality of the books and the box worth the money you have to pay to get this set?

tcstprodthumb_final3This is one of the products that came out of the blue for me. My FLGS owner mentioned that I might like this and recommended it. Since I thought the price was reasonable for what it promised to deliver and I was looking forward to buying something a bit different from just a game.

This is what the manufacturer says, but does the product live up to expectations?

Game description from the publisher:

Waterdeep, the City of Splendors – the most resplendent jewel in the Forgotten Realms, and a den of political intrigue and shady back-alley dealings. In this game, the players are powerful lords vying for control of this great city. Its treasures and resources are ripe for the taking, and that which cannot be gained through trickery and negotiation must be taken by force!

mass-effect-3_cover[1]Probably the best video game trilogy ever. One of the coolest and most interesting settings in Sci-Fi at a par with Star Trek and Babylon 5. Storytelling like never before in a videogame.

And this is the “collector’s Edition” box…

Wow… just wow…

This unboxing video only intends to showcase the production values of this game. This is not a review of the gameplay itself, but of the first impressions one can get when buying this game, and whether or not the look and feel of the game and its components are worth its price.

This is what the publisher has to say:

Pret-a-Porter is an economic strategy game set in a world of fashion. Players run clothes companies and fight for dominance during fashion shows. It is – perhaps – one of the most cruel and ruthless of all our games. Money can be a dangerous weapon.
